Service Project Award

Our first annual EAST Conference Service Project gave us the opportunity to work with Feeding America, a nationally recognized organization, who works with food banks around the country supplying food to the hungry.  Our goal was to collect 2000 jars of peanut butter and we succeeded by collecting 3.651 jars!  In weight, the final count totalled 5,100 pounds of peanut butter.

The service project award went to Pulaski Heights Middle School who donated 1077 containers totalling 1,223 pounds and 9.5 ounces of peanut butter for the 2009 EAST Conference Service Project. This program was awarded a crystal plaque with a lighted base.
