What is ELMA?
This two day workshop is designed as a technology workshop to prepare and assist all levels of school staff to support their local EAST Program. The vision and purpose of the EAST Initiative will be presented; as will the relationships with state and national organizations currently engaged with the EAST Initiative along with supporting research highlights. Cross-curricular pathways using the EAST technology to achieve meaningful community service will be explored. Student selection, placement, and overall scheduling along with summer and after-hours possibilities options will be presented. Logistical issues related to travel, conference participation, and periodic upgrades will be discussed and best practices shared.
