Seminar Wednesday Lunch
As you know, EAST is providing meals through breakfast on Wednesday, June 24th. Lunch that day is on your own. The Seminar should be finished at 12:30 PM. If you anticipate staying for lunch before heading home on Wednesday, please let me know by June 12th so Winrock can be sure to prepare for you and any guests you may have with you.
Wednesday lunch cost is $10 per person and this amount will be paid directly to the facility that day.
If you do not RSVP by June 12th, please do not ask Winrock to accomodate for you last minute. Thanks!!

Evening Activities
CACHE DASH - We need 1 more team to enter the Cache Dash. Please review the details and let me know if you want to form a team.
SUNSET STROLL – Please RSVP if you will be joining a Petit Jean State Park interpreter for the sunset stroll Monday Night, June 22. Family and friends are invited.
S'MORES - The time has changed from 9 PM to 8:30 PM. Family and guests are invited.
Win Prizes
Don’t forget to begin collecting and uploading items for the drawing. Remember, most of these need to be uploaded by June 12 to be included in the drawing.
There are only a few that you can actually bring with you and turn in during registration.
Meals
All meals through breakfast on Wednesday are provided. The food at this facility is excellent. Please let me know in advance (no later than June 12) if you
have any dietary restrictions or requirements so we can make plans to try and accomodate your needs.
Suggested Items to Bring (non EAST related)
- Sun Protection (Hat, Sunscreen, etc.)
- Bug Spray
- Flashlight - especially if taking the sunset stroll and for use after S'Mores
- Swimming Gear (there is a great pool with water slide and diving board in the state park for a small fee per person)
- Fun Stuff - Frisby, Games, Bike, Movies, Wii or Guitar Hero
*Remember some equipment is available for use from Winrock
- Drinks and/or snacks (cannot purchase these items in the gift shop)
- Lawn Chair or Lawn Blanket

Summer Seminar Upcoming Deadlines
May 22 – Event Registration Deadline (Please register or make sure we receive a letter from your administration on why you won’t
be in attendance before the deadline)
June 5 – Event & Guest Meal Registration Payment Deadline
June 10 - Session Registration Deadline (see below)
June 12 - Prize upload deadline
Now Available – Session Registration
It is time to create your schedule! Facilitators registered for the Summer Seminar can begin customizing their session schedule today. This provides you with the opportunity to decide which sessions you would like to attend. Individual schedules must be completed by Wednesday, June 10th or one will be created for you.
To create your individual session schedule
- Click “My Summer Seminar” or Login
- Scroll Down under the heading “Your Seminar Sessions” and click the word “here” to create or modify your agenda
- Choose a session for each time slot listed
- When finished, click the “Save” button located at the bottom of the page
- Edits can be made to your schedule through June 10th

Similar to the Conference Website blog, check this specific page regularly for updates and
announcements as we continue firming plans for the 2009 Facilitator Summer Seminar.
We will put a
little note here when an update has been made to the website, a deadline is coming up or an announcement needs to be made.
